Biography

Amanda Seccia earned her BA in Psychology from Wilkes University with concentrations in Neuroscience, Cognition, and Sociology. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in the Curriculum, Instruction, and Science of Learning program in the Graduate Studies of Education Department. She serves as the manager of the Neurocognition Science Laboratory in which she researches the benefits of applying the use of neuroimaging techniques like Electroencephalography, and Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy to understand and capitalize on how children in the classroom learn most efficiently.
